Do you teach competition work?
Can you help my dogs pulling?
Not yet. I have my sights on a course that will give me the skills to do this but one thing at a time.
Absolutely, in fact I have several ways to do this so finding one that works for your dog is usually possible.
My dog is dog on dog aggressive. Can you help?
Most definitely! I have lots of ways to work with this, although I can't guarantee your dog will become dog friendly, I encourage neutrality so you are able to at least pass other dogs. The majority of dogs finding their way to me seem to have this problem. By finding out what's causing the reactivity we can begin to modify the emotions and the reactions.
Do you guarantee your work?
Nope. Every dog is different. Every dog has different genetics, prior socialisation, prior experiences. There are times when it isn't fair to force a dog to deal with the triggers as this leads to them shutting down. I will always be honest with you, put in goals that look manageable and check in with you regularly to assess, tweak and if necessary refer you to a trusted trainer.
I can't afford your prices, what can I do?
Speak to me. I often have offers on or will work with you to tailor a package that works for both of us.
My dog is scared of everything, can you help?
This is where I excel. I am a firm believer in confidence being the key to most fears. Whether your dogs been through a trauma or have had the predisposition through breed, genetics or lack of habituation I have a variety of methods that can help. There is nothing better than watching a dog grow in confidence.
My dog jumps on visitors
Let's find a place for your dog and a movement you would like him to do instead. We can do this.
My dog hates people
Let's find out why and work from there. Safety is my main priority so we will do this one gradually and assess each step of the way.
