At Janine White Dog Behaviour, I am committed to supporting responsible dog ownership and promoting positive welfare outcomes for dogs and their families.

To help reduce surrender rates and support ethical rehoming, I offer discounted behaviour consultations in specific circumstances outlined below.

1. Dogs Adopted from Registered UK Dog Rescues

A discounted session rate is available for dogs adopted from a registered UK-based dog rescue organisation.

Eligibility Criteria:

* The rescue must be a registered UK charity or recognised not-for-profit rescue organisation.

* The dog must have been adopted within the last 12 months (unless otherwise agreed).

* Proof of adoption will be required (e.g., adoption agreement or confirmation email from the rescue).

This discount is intended to:

* Support successful transitions into new homes

* Reduce the risk of dogs being returned

* Provide early behavioural guidance where needed

 

2. Owners Who Have Contacted a Registered UK Rescue About Rehoming Their Dog

A discounted intervention session is available for owners who have contacted a registered UK dog rescue organisation regarding rehoming their dog and are seeking behavioural support as an alternative.

Eligibility Criteria:

* The rescue must be a registered UK charity or recognised rescue organisation.

* You must provide:

  * The name of the rescue organisation

  * The name of the person you spoke to

  * The date of contact

* I may request confirmation from the rescue where appropriate.

This support aims to:

* Prevent unnecessary relinquishment

* Address behaviour concerns constructively

* Improve welfare outcomes for both dog and family

Early intervention can often resolve challenges that might otherwise lead to rehoming.

 

3. Partner Service Agreements

Discounted sessions are also available to clients who work with approved partner services with whom I hold a formal agreement.

Eligibility Criteria:

* The partner service must have an active, agreed working arrangement with Janine White Dog Behaviour.

* The client must confirm their involvement with the partner organisation.

* Verification may be requested.

 

Partner services may include (but are not limited to):

* Veterinary practices

* Rescue organisations

* Welfare charities

* Dog walkers/ boarders/ sitters

If you use one of these but they do not currently have a partnership with me I am happy to discuss possibly creating one with them.
