These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Janine White Dog Behaviour

By booking or using my services, you agree to the following:

1. Services Provided

I provide dog training and behaviour support using humane, force-free, evidence-based methods focused on emotional wellbeing, confidence, and safety.

Results vary depending on many factors including environment, consistency, and the dog’s emotional state. No guarantees of specific outcomes are made.

2. Client Responsibility

You agree that:

  • You are legally responsible for your dog at all times
  • You will follow management and safety advice given
  • You will disclose any known behavioural concerns (including bite history)
  • You understand that behaviour change takes time and commitment
  • You understand that to get the most out of training you need to:
    • Practice the training we put in place. You will be given a training log to remind you.
    • Are committed to the training.
    • Remember that nothing happens overnight so have patience that new habits are possible.
    • Be on time for your appointment.
    • Have lots of treats and/or toys available (when you think you have enough, double it). 
    • Have a well fitted harness and lead. I will not work with shock collars; slip leads or prong collars.

3. Health & Welfare

You confirm that your dog is:

  • In suitable health for training (or that relevant conditions have been disclosed)
  • Up to date with vaccinations or veterinary advice where appropriate

I reserve the right to pause or decline services if welfare or safety concerns arise.

4. Liability

While every effort is made to ensure safety, dog training involves animals and unpredictable situations.

Janine White Dog Behaviour accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage caused by your dog during or after sessions, except where required by law.

5. Payment & Cancellations

  • Payment terms will be agreed at booking
  • Cancellations must be made with 48 hours’ notice for a full refund.
  • If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice you will get a 50% refund.

  •  

    If I arrive and you are not in, and I have not heard from you I will wait for 15 minutes and attempt to call you once before cancelling the session. No refund will be given in these circumstances.

  •  

    If you have booked a package, any refund will be worked out according to time spent and work undertaken.

6. Behavioural Advice Disclaimer

Training and behaviour advice does not replace veterinary or medical advice.
You agree to seek veterinary guidance where appropriate.

7. Media & Testimonials

Photos, videos, or testimonials will only be used with your consent.
You may withdraw consent at any time.

8. Changes to Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time.
The latest version will always be available on the website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
